Smoky Mountain Children’s Home Receives Van from Labels Program

SEVIERVILLE, TN– The Church of God Smoky Mountain Children’s Home has received another new van from Campbell’s Soup program, “Labels for Education.” With the help of individuals, businesses, and church groups, SMCH has collected, processed and sent in 1,600,000 Campbell’s Soup labels in order to receive the vehicle. The new Dodge van, along with other vans on campus, makes it possible for house parents to transport residents to needed appointments and events.

Real-Life ‘Field of Dreams’ Documentary Seeks Funding to Complete Faith-Based Project

Justin Nye Summers, director of ‘The Baseball Bond: Our Real-Life Field of Dreams’ – a documentary that follows a team of fathers and their sons as they compete in the Father & Son World Series – is seeking funds to see the project through completion.

City of Selma Shuts Down Last Abortion Clinic

In 2014, Fr. Terry Gensemer of CEC For Life uncovered an illegal abortion clinic in Selma, Alabama, and began efforts to stop the operation. Now, the coalition of pro-life organizations that developed around those efforts has confirmed that Dr. Samuel Lett is no longer performing abortions in the city of Selma.
