To recognize children’s workers who have served long term in children’s ministry, a Shepherd’s Cup award is presented annually at the annual Church of God Youth and Discipleship FOCUS Kidmin Conference, which convened last week in Knoxville, Tennessee, March 1-3. The awards were presented in front of an elite group of over 260 deserving children’s ministry leaders who attended.
Tulsa, OK – Empowered21 is set to empower a new generation when it gathers in the year 2020 to celebrate Pentecost. June 1-3, thousands of believers from around the globe will gather for the Jerusalem 2020 Empowered21 Global Congress at Pais Arena in Jerusalem. Believers will celebrate the work of the Holy Spirit and begin to anticipate in 2033 the 2,000th anniversary of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit recorded in the book of Acts.
Six denominations will join together for a unique, Pentecostals Pray Conference in Eastern North Carolina. Pastors, prayer leaders, and intercessors are invited to the International Pentecostal Holiness Church NC Conference Campus in Falcon, NC (just north of Fayetteville). Coordinated by P. Douglas Small, under the banner of the Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America, the Pentecostals Pray Conference will provide opportunities for vision and training as well as resources to launch a missional prayer movement.
