Next General Assembly Set for Indianapolis
In less than two years, the Church of God is headed to the beautiful midwestern city of Indianapolis, Indiana for the 79th International General Assembly in 2024.
CT CityFest Set for August 27 and 28
Bridgeport, CT–More than 175 churches, organizations, and businesses throughout Southwest Connecticut have come together to throw a party for the region. They’re calling it CT CityFest with Andrew Palau. With a special emphasis on unity, hope, and good news, the free two-day festival will be held August 27-28, at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut (1 Barnum Dyke, Bridgeport, CT 06604).
Injunction, Court Order Against Church Reversed
San Jose, CA–The County of Santa Clara and Health Officer Sarah Cody, through County Counsel James Williams, obtained a temporary restraining order and injunction in November 2020 against Calvary Chapel San Jose, Pastor Mike McClure, and Pastor Carson Atherly for violating the Covid-19 health orders that restricted church services, required masks and the submission to the county of a Covid-19 Social Distancing Protocol.
