Lee University Breaks Enrollment Record Again

This fall, Lee University welcomed more students than ever before with an enrollment of 4,411. Lee students come from 49 states and 50 foreign countries, and this is the 26th year of increased numbers at the Cleveland campus of the Church of God’s flagship institution.

“This is a milestone for Lee University, thanks to the hard work of Phil Cook, vice president for enrollment, and the rest of the admissions crew. With a new record of 875 freshmen, we are already in full swing for another great year,” said Lee President Paul Conn.

Other academic programs at Lee, such as CAPS and extension campuses, are also experiencing growth, though not counted in the above number. One of these areas is the new Internet Degree Program with a record enrollment of 300 students this semester. Formerly coordinated by the Church of God division of education, this program offers a BS in church leadership.

According to Cook, “We know that students have many options in college choice these days, and it’s exciting to see such a large and very well-prepared class of freshmen and transfers choosing Lee.”
