CLEVELAND, TN — Operation Compassion is actively assembling disaster response teams and preparing to mobilize emergency relief resources as Hurricane Isaias threatens communities along the Gulf Coast, including Pensacola, Florida, and surrounding areas.

As the storm approaches, Operation Compassion is coordinating with local pastors, ministry partners and leaders to assess anticipated needs, identify areas of greatest vulnerability, and establish a strategic response to assist individuals and families impacted by the hurricane.

“We are prepared to mobilize essential resources quickly and are already in communication with local pastors and ministry leaders in Pensacola and the surrounding areas,” said Steven Allen, Vice President of Operations, Disaster Relief, for Operation Compassion. “Our priority is to ensure that our teams and resources are positioned to respond effectively as conditions allow. We believe in responding rapidly, partnering purposefully, and restoring hope for lasting impact.”

Through its established network of churches, community partners, and relief organizations, Operation Compassion is preparing to coordinate the distribution of essential supplies and humanitarian assistance to affected communities.

While immediate disaster response remains a priority, the organization’s commitment extends beyond the initial emergency. Operation Compassion seeks to support local churches and community partners as they help families navigate the difficult journey of recovery and rebuilding.

“Our heart is to come alongside communities when they need it most,” Allen added. “By working together with trusted local partners, we can provide practical assistance, encouragement, and hope during some of life’s most challenging moments.”

Operation Compassion will continue monitoring developments surrounding Hurricane Isaias and coordinating with its disaster relief partners as deployment plans are finalized.
