Theme, Speakers Announced for MIP Commissioning Weekend

Cleveland, TN–The annual Ministerial Internship Program (MIP) Commissioning Celebration is slated for May 16-17, 2014 at the North Cleveland Church of God. The theme for this year’s gathering is Forward! Let the Lord Have His Way!

Registration will be held on Friday, with the opening service to be held Friday evening. According to leaders coordinating the event in the Division of Education, the Friday evening service will consist of the three assistant general overseers and the secretary general of the Church of God all speaking about where they believe the Lord is leading the church. Scheduled to appear are Assistant General Overseers David Griffis, J. David Stephens and Wallace Sibley and Secretary General M. Thomas Propes.

General Overseer Mark Williams will preach and commission the MIP candidates on Saturday morning.

The MIP Commissioning Celebration services are open to the public. Registration and more information is located at mipcommissioning.cogdoe.org.
