Marcelly’s Dream Initiative Surpasses $2M in Donations
Cleveland, TN–At the recent quarterly meeting of the Church of God World Missions Board, a highlight was the announcement by Director Tim Hill that churches, states, and donor giving to Marcelly’s Dream has exceeded $2,000,000 in donations.
“In a time of economic downturn, God reveals He is still in control and He will provide through His people,” Hill stated. Hill explained the funds represent Bibles, medical care, clean water and wells, buildings and renovations, education, and missionary care throughout the world.
“The effect is far-reaching and produces help for multiple needs. On-going funds are needed to supply assistance on a regular basis,” Hill said.
World Missions also announced the continued assistance of funding for partner organizations such as Men and Women of Action, People for Care and Learning, Volunteers in Medical Missions (VIMM), and Editorial Evangelica, the Church of God Hispanic publications outreach.
The 14-member World Missions Board, chaired by Timothy Oldfield, is appointed biannually by the Church of God International Executive Committee, and makes vital decisions in the administration of World Missions.
