USA Missions Administrator to Appear on Atlanta Program
Dr. James E. Cossey, Executive Administrator of USA Missions, is scheduled to appear on the Atlanta-based TV show, Seniors Today tonight, Thursday, April 7, 2016. The program, co-hosted by Church of God member Betty Cornett, is aired from 7-9 pm on the Christian station WATC, viewed on digital channel 57 in the Atlanta area. The program can also be viewed online internationally at www.watc.tv and on some cable and satellite channels.
Seniors Today is a community-based outreach program hosted by Betty Cornett and Pat Mathis to educate the elderly and provide a forum to encourage seniors to grow through learning, become active, and share their special knowledge with others. Through this program seniors gain a wealth of knowledge on issues relevant to their lifestyle with topics on health and welfare, finances and retirement. It also gives them an opportunity to get involved and become active, to continue their artistic abilities, to grow through learning, and to share their knowledge with the younger generation.
Cossey has been invited because, in addition to his other duties as Executive Administrator of USA Missions, Senior Adult Ministries is one of the portfolios assigned to his office. He also directs the annual Smoky Mountain Jubilee Senior Adult Retreat each year in Gatlinburg and serves as a senior adult ministries consultation to state offices and local churches.
Cossey will appear on Seniors Today on Thursday, April 7 from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m., sharing the Word and debuting songs from his soon-to-be released Southern Gospel CD, Don’t Hang Your Head and Cry.
