Daily Bible Reading Program Renewed for 2018
For the sixth consecutive year the Church of God is offering a daily Bible reading program which advances the reader through the entire Bible in one year.
READ 2018 continues the free service first inaugurated in 2013. Signing up is an easy, two-step process which can be realized by visiting www.churchofgod.org and clicking on the READ graphic, or directly to the site at www.churchofgod.org/read2018. Upon submission, daily readings will be emailed. The initiative uses the Modern English Version of the Bible (MEV).
With the upcoming commemoration of the Church of God Declaration of Faith on Sunday, January 7, General Overseer Tim Hill said, “Reading the Word of God is vital to the spiritual growth of all believers. We, the Church of God leadership, still believe the first tenet in our Declaration of Faith. We believe ‘In the verbal inspiration of the Bible.’”
