Latin America Executive Committee In Session
Cleveland, TN–The Church of God Latin America Executive Committee and Representatives are gathered at the International Offices for the next three days to discuss items related to the strategic development of the Church of God in that region.
Dr. Ángel Marcial, Director Church of God Latin America, is leading the historic gathering, which will welcome several guests from across Latin America, including those representing youth, women, and business leaders. It will also welcome general church leadership, including Director of World Missions David Griffis and Assistant Director M. Thomas Propes.
Among the items slated for discussion by the group includes a strategic plan for 2021-2030. Vision 2021-2030 and its alignment with the Church of God and World Missions will highlight the three-day gathering. Griffis will address the conference on Tuesday and receive a report on the Send the Light to the Cities initiative. Griffis and Marcial will discuss the accomplishments and challenges of the 2016-2020 period.
Other topics include integration and alignment of ministries to fulfill the mission of Vision 2021-2030, report on the upcoming FIEL International set for October 9-12 in Spain, and a report on the Portugal Project.
Additional presenters and devotional leaders slated to appear include Andrew Binda, Berta Vega, Cruz M. Paniagua, and Expedito De Melo.
The conference is set to adjourn on Wednesday, June 19.
