Special Livestream Service Set for Sunday
In a call for connectivity and unity during the Covid-19 pandemic, Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill has called a special livestream service, which will take place from the International Offices this Sunday at 6:00 p.m. EST.
“With most of our churches cancelling or going to online services, we wanted to offer a time when everyone can come together as a global church,” Hill stated. “We encourage all pastors to follow what has been strongly advised, and in some places mandated, that no groups of more than 10 people gather together. We hope this service will be one way we can all stay connected in these unprecedented times.”
The service will feature a number of friends under the theme, “Hope for Tomorrow.” Moderated by Hill, he will introduce such guests as Rev. Kenneth Ulmer, Sammy Rodriguez, Tony Suarez and Jason Crabb. Each will offer a short, 2-3 minute video greeting. The highlight musical guests will be an in-person reunion of Danny Murray and Harvest, a group that was active in the 1980s as a recruitment group for Lee University. The service is scheduled to go about an hour.
