Agree ’21 Virtual Prayer Convocation Begins Tonight
Church leaders, including General Overseer Tim Hill, will launch the first of two nights of prayer from the International Offices tonight at 7:00 p.m. EST.
Agree has been an anticipated yearly event since 2017, as church leadership seek Christ for guidance in the new year. Ordinarily held the second week of January and held during the day as well, Agree ’21 will be in the evenings only, March 2 and 3, and with no live audience due to Covid-19 protocols.
Nightly speakers for Agree 21 are Jason Daughdrill on Tuesday, March 2, followed by Jonathon Zeigler on Wednesday. Daughdrill leads Gateway Church in Shelbyville, Tennessee, a congregation that has been experiencing a journey of revitalization over the last five years, growing by 1000% and embracing a vision for multiplication. Daughdrill serves on the USA Missions Board and the Church Planting & Revitalization Board for the Church of God.
Zeigler, who will highlight the Wednesday evening service, is a world-renowned evangelist, an adjutant for revival, and a “soul winning statesman for the body of Christ.” He leads Jonathon Zeigler Ministries, based in Atlanta.
There will be a time of praise and worship each night and special musical performances by Voices of Lee (Tuesday night) and Power Unlimited from campus Choir at Lee University on Wednesday. Special guests will also be presenting, both live and pre-recorded.
The two livestreams will be led by hosts General Overseer Tim Hill and Church of God Prayer Coordinator Doug Small. In addition to the keynote messages, the hosts will lead in a time of prayer for needs to the church, nation, and world.
The livestream will originate through the Church of God Facebook page (COGHQ) and on YouTube.com.
