Pastor Appreciation Day Set for April 24
Cleveland, TN–Church of God Adult Discipleship has announced 2022 Pastor Appreciation Sunday as April 24, 2022.
International Co-Director of Adult Discipleship, O. Wayne Brewer stated, “each year on the last Sunday of April, Church of God congregations all over North America and beyond, honor their pastor and his or her family – it is an exciting Sunday of celebration, gratitude, and encouraging appreciation given to the pastor.”
“The Church of God has traditionally respected and honored the God-called men and women who serve the Body of Christ as pastors,” Brewer continued. “Though not an easy task by any measure, the office/ministry of pastor is essential to the nurture, care, and feeding of the people of God.”
