De Ycaza Joins Division of Education
Dr. Héctor De Ycaza has joined the staff of the Church of God Division of Education as dean of USA Hispanic Educational Ministries (HEM).
Prior to joining the staff of USA HEM, De Ycaza was active in several areas of educational ministry including:
• Adjunct professor at the Central American Biblical Pentecostal Seminary (SEBIPCA) in Guatemala from September 2021 until the present;
• A member of the Board of Ministerial Credentials for the Church of God New England Hispanic Region, which realized 900 graduates from the Bible Institutes/CAMS/MIP/Equivalency educational programs;
• Lead pastor of the Church of God in Worcester, New England Hispanic Region.
Between 2007 and 2022, De Ycaza has been a professor, national director of Christian education, a board member of a college, director of a college, and lead pastor of two churches in Panama and Venezuela. De Ycaza holds a B.A. degree from Pentecostal Bible College in Saint Just, Puerto Rico, a M. Th. From Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, the M.Div. degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., and a D. Min. from Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tenn.
Born in Panama, Dr. De Ycaza is married to Raquel and they have two children—Héctor I. and Naomi.
