Ministry of Evangelism to Host Dunamis Conference

Cleveland, TN—Church of God Ministry of Evangelism will be hosting the first in a series of conferences entitled “Dunamis: Empowering and Equipping the church to Evangelize the World” on November 15-16, 2024, at the Philadelphia Romanian Church of God (New Phila Church campus) in Chicago, Ill.

The conference will be the inaugural event sponsored by the Church of God Ministry of Evangelism Department, which was created at the 2024 General Assembly last July.

According to Director Dr. Sean O’Neal, Dunamis is designed to “equip and empower laity, church leaders, pastors, and all ministers to take the gospel to everyone.” It is the first of others to follow in various locations at later dates. The Ministry of Evangelism is also led by Assistant Director Scott Sheppard.

Workshop session topics will focus on personal evangelism, church planting, church health and revitalization. On the opening night there will be worship and powerful presentations from church leaders including First Assistant General Overseer Dr. Tony D. Stewart, and Dr. James O. Davis, founder of the Global Church Network. Saturday general sessions will be led by Great Lakes Region Administrative Bishop Dr. John Alexander, Dr. Victor Artreche, bishop of the North Central Hispanic Region, and Florin Cimpean, administrative bishop of the Romanian Territory. Many other dynamic presenters will lead various training sessions during these breakout tracks.

“We are excited to welcome everyone to participate in this significant conference,” O’Neal concluded.

Registration for Dunamis is available on-line at gospelmultiplicationnetwork.org. Conference materials will be available at check in on Friday evening and Saturday morning. The conference will begin with a pre-session prayer at 6:45 p.m. on Friday evening and 8:45 a.m. prior to the sessions on Saturday.
