School of Ministry Continues to Reach Out
The Church of God School of Ministry programs have a far-reaching effect, affecting people at all walks of life and at various ministry levels.
In 2008, a prisoner in a state prison enrolled in the Certificate In Ministerial Studies (CIMS) program and he continued his studies until he completed the CIMS program this past May.
“The studies were important to him, because when he was transferred from one prison facility to another, he consistently studied and completed all of the CIMS courses,” said Don Bennett, coordinator of the School of Ministry for the Church of God. “During his studies, he received the Bible certificate, doctrinal certificate, pastoral ministry certificate, and now, the CIMS certificate. He discovered the courses to be beneficial and enriching in his life. It’s amazing what God has accomplished through the CIMS studies.”
