Last weekend was an unusually violent one for Barranquilla, Colombia. On Saturday, a woman was found dead in a hotel, and police said she had been strangled with a chain. Another woman was found murdered in a different part of the city. Mildred Lowery, wife of well-known evangelist and former member of the Church of God Executive Committee, T.L. Lowery, passed away on Saturday afternoon, March 7. She was 84.
