Christianity Today’s Church Finance Today celebrates its 20th anniversary by reflecting on the most significant changes in church finance since it began and offering 20 percent off new subscriptions.

Managing church finances is more complex than ever due to the changes over the past 20 years. The October issue highlights nine of these changes that include rules about how to substantiate cash donations, automatic excess benefit transactions, and the new mandates introduced by Obamacare.

Church Finance Today is an award-winning publication. Church Finance Today received the Award of Merit for the Newsletter category from the Evangelical Press Association this year, and won the Award of Excellence in the same category in previous years.

An electronic archive of the past 20 years of Church Finance Today is now available to subscribers of www.ChurchLawAndTax.com. Two articles, “When Churches Give Christmas Gifts” and “Unrelated Business Income Tax on Rent for Church-Owned Property,” from these archives will be free to view on October 18 and 19 through the end of the month during the 31 in 31 promotion (http://www.churchlawandtax.com/31in31).
