The typhoon damaged productive agricultural lands and will have a bearing soon on the national food situation. It is estimated that Megi could have damaged P1.53 billion worth of rice crop in Isabela the second top rice-producing province in the country.
Many Church of God facilities in the provinces of Cagayan, Pangasinan, Illocos Norte and Illocos Sur are still under water. The national office is still gathering information as to the extent of wind and other damages. Your prayers and support through World Mission are deeply appreciated.
