The Catholic League countered with its own billboard on the New York side bearing the message, “You know it’s real. This season, celebrate Jesus.”
The Catholic League’s Jeff Field quips that “there’s light at the end of the tunnel.”
American Atheists president David Silverman responds that the Catholics stole the billboard idea the same way early Christians stole the winter solstice and made it Christmas.
