Museum of the Bible Announces Formation of International Advisory Council

Museum of the Bible announces a distinguished list of advisers for the museum that will open its doors to the public this November. The council is comprised of archaeologists, professors, theologians and scholars and includes pastors, priests and rabbis. Members hold advanced degrees from such distinguished institutions as Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, Wharton, University of London, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Yeshiva College, Catholic University of America, Claremont College, NYU and more.

90 Continuous Hours of Bible Reading at U.S. Capitol Now

For the 28th year, the annual U.S. Capitol Bible Reading Marathon is underway on the West front of the U.S. Capitol. It began at Sunday at 6:00 PM with the reading of Genesis 1:1 and for the next 90 continuous hours, every word of the Bible is read aloud and without commentary. It culminates at noon on Thursday, May 4, with the reading of the final chapter of the book of Revelation.
