TULSA, Okla. — In response to the government of Israel’s indefinite ban of all international conferences within Israel due to the coronavirus pandemic, Empowered21 announced that it will forego the in-person Jerusalem2020 Global Congress formerly scheduled to take place in Jerusalem during the week of Pentecost 2020. The Empowered21 Global Congress will shift to an online event, May 31 – June 2, which will stream live from the campus of Oral Roberts University (ORU).

Global Outreach Day International president, Werner Nachtigal, prayed and encouraged leaders representing 40 million Christians in North America at the annual Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA) meeting in late February. Nachtigal was part of a team with GO 2020 USA director, Dave Gibson, and Assemblies of God USA evangelist, Joe Oden, that ministered at the annual meeting. GO 2020 Miracle in May was the meeting theme with sessions on evangelism and prayer.
