Live actors in elaborate costumes will portray Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus, as well as shepherds, townspeople, and a drummer boy. The live animals will accompany the group as they walk from the Faith and Action headquarters behind the Supreme Court, across Constitution and Maryland Avenues, to the front of the High Court and the East plaza of the U.S. Capitol, finally making their way back via East Capitol Street. Soloist Nathan Kistler of Hickory, North Carolina will lead classic Christmas carols.
