Cleveland, TN–Lee University is welcoming a veteran pastor to lead its ministerial training programs, it was announced Sunday by Lee President Paul Conn. Dr. Mark L. Walker, senior pastor of Mount Paran North Church of God, will resign from that pastorate to join the Lee faculty and administration in early August.

Today the U.S. Supreme Court announced the Court’s decision in the case of Trinity Lutheran Church of Columbia v. Comer. This marked the first major religious liberty case since Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch was confirmed to the Court earlier this year. Family Research Council, as a part of a coalition, submitted an amicus brief in the case.

The U.S. Supreme Court has decided to take up a case that will help determine whether or not the government can punish Christian business owners who refuse to participate in same-sex marriages due to their deeply held biblical convictions.
