Christian Freedom International is offering a free resource kit for churches to participate in the International Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. This annual event – held on the first and second Sundays of November – raises awareness of the persecution and oppression Christians around the world experience for their faith in Jesus Christ.

For the past two months, Operation Compassion has been busy delivering disaster relief products to those areas stricken by mammoth hurricanes from the Texas Gulf Coast to the outer reaches of the Caribbean. The City of Dothan, Alabama, and New Life in Jesus Ministry have announced a quick resolution to the church’s lawsuit against the city. New Life had filed a lawsuit against the city after the church’s zoning approval was denied in September. Pursuant to the settlement, the United States District Court of Alabama entered an order allowing New Life to worship in its building at 274 N. Foster Street.

More than three decades after his famous grandfather, evangelist Billy Graham, preached behind the Iron Curtain during a seven-city tour in Romania, Will Graham returned this weekend to share the Gospel in the city of Cluj-Napoca. The younger Graham spoke to overflow crowds totaling 24,500 over two days, Oct. 21-22, at Polyvalenta Hall, not far from St. Michael’s Church, the soaring cathedral in which his grandfather preached in 1985.
