Indonesia Still Recovering from Floods
Massive flooding came with torrential rains to Jakarta, Indonesia on New Year’s Eve and New Years Day. BBC.com reports: “The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) measured 377mm (14.8 inches) of rainfall in a day at an airport in East Jakarta. That’s the most rain in a single day since at least 1996, when records supplied by the agency began. ‘The rain falling on New Year’s Eve… is not ordinary rain,’ said the agency.”
‘Miracle Seed Offering’ Raises Funds Toward Debt Elimination
Cleveland, TN–What is being termed as a “miracle seed offering,” of over $20,000 was given by guests and employees of the Church of God to begin to eliminate a $4 million debt that remains on the expansion of the International Offices campus.
