Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill addresses the subject of retired ministers in his latest entry titled, “The Debt We Owe – Our Denomination’s Responsibility to its Retired Ministers.”
He sent them all into this city. Normally, Jesus sent them as teams of two for each city, but this one time He sent all twelve of His disciples. Called and commissioned by the Lord of the Harvest, entrusted with the message of the Kingdom of Heaven, evil spirits subject to them… yet they brought NO ONE to Jesus.
For more than 20 years, Operation Compassion has been looking for ways to reach out to assist individuals and families that have found themselves in difficult circumstances. It doesn’t matter if a disaster caused the immediate need for relief and aid or if it was a result of socio-economic status. When people find themselves searching to provide the basic necessities of life, Operation Compassion has always found a way to provide assistance. Often times this assistance included food, bottled water, clothing and shoes, cleaning supplies and equipment, building supplies of all types and many other types of help.
A fellowship of Church of God Church of God members of the Indian nationality in the U.S. and Canada, will gather for their 24th conference to be held in Knoxville, Tenn.
She knows the government of her country is monitoring her Internet activity. It is illegal to spread the Gospel there. She knows this, too. Yet she boldly shares the message of Jesus on her blog, realizing fully that spies see every word she writes. Maybe in their surveillance, they will come to know Him. That’s her hope.
