National Network for Community Prayer Teams Launches

A new initiative is launching to foster and link local prayer networks nationwide. The Prayer Connect Community Network is a joint project of The Mission America Coalition and the Church of God National Prayer Committee. The first event of the initiative will be held on August 23, the final day of the Praying Church Conference in Cartersville, Ga.

Lee University Breaks Ground on New Communication Arts Building

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – Lee University has begun construction on its newest addition to the campus. The building, which will house Lee’s Communication Arts Department, will be built on the extreme southwestern corner of campus and will see use by the start of Lee’s fall semester in August of 2014.

Church of God Leadership in East Africa Signs Children’s Ministries Resolution


A group of East Africa Church of God leaders (overseers, wives, regional superintendent, Christian education director) recently met in Kampala, Uganda, for an intensive workshop concerning the pressing need for the development of effective children’s ministries in the region. The group created a four-point resolution outlining their commitment to reaching and discipling the children of East Africa.
