Stanley E. Wiley was called to ministry as a high school junior and mentored by his pastor. As a Methodist, he attended Drew University declaring his goal as ministry. He majored in history. The author eventually transferred to Drew Theological School and obtained his M.Div. He was ordained as a UM elder in 1961. Stanley went on to serve as a student pastor; and served three churches in NY and CT specializing in youth, young adult, and pastoral ministry. The author has spent many years in ministry carrying various titles, such as: director of campus ministry programs, community college counselor/instructor, voc. rehab specialist, and chaplain rescue missions, interim pastor, and more.
