The very first week of January 2019, newly elected Governor Gretchen Whitmer began issuing executive directives that aligned with the radical Commission. One of note (Executive Directive 2019-09) prohibits the State of Michigan from doing business with any entity that exhibits conscientious objection-religious or otherwise-to the LGBTQ community and agenda. As a result, and unsurprisingly, many religious organizations and business owners have been negatively affected. Whitmer claims such a directive is “on the right side of history,” and those who resist will inevitably suffer the unfortunate consequences. Whitmer calls the directive “moral,” and in order to impose the morality, she has established a team of enforcers called “Equity and Inclusion Officers.” These officers are to “receive complaints,” “educate,” “remedy noncompliance,” and “monitor compliance.”
This should terrify the citizens of Michigan.
A rally in defense of Religious Liberty will occur on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the Michigan Capitol Building in Lansing from 10 am until 2 pm. Your presence and voice is needed! More information at Lansingrally.com.
