Church of God World Missions leadership and the World Missions board recently appointed Dr. Marc A. Morris as interim president of the Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries (ASCM). Morris, who had already been serving as chairman of the board since July 2017, was appointed to serve in this new role until the 2020 Church of God International General Assembly.

The congress was originally planned for Guatemala City at Casa de Dios but due to recent developments between the church and the Guatemalan government the E21 Global Council Executive Work Group unanimously approved moving the Congress to Bogotá, Colombia in a recent meeting.
