Ministry in South America

The upcoming December missions trip is really beginning to come together. We already have about 15 people signed up for the trip, which will take place Dec 10-19, 2009.

The Home Where I Met Jesus

Casa Shalom’s motto is: “Casa Shalom—the home where I met Jesus.” Every day, we strive to show Jesus’ love to the 56 amazing kids who live at the orphanage, and that love is evidenced in so many ways.

There is Hope

Hiruy Tsige, Ethiopian national overseer, relates how they are starting to reach out to the Ghurage tribe, another largely unreached ethnic group of 1.8 million people, living about 100 miles southwest of Addis Ababa, the capital city.

An Earth-Shaking Missions Trip

The early morning hours of May 28, 2009, will forever be imprinted on the minds of Youth Pastor David Tidwell along with 31 youth, chaperones, and ministers from the Maranatha Fellowship Church of God in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Running with the Vision of Missions Education

“Write the vision, and make it plain…so he may run that readeth it” (Habakkuk 2.2 KJV); “…so that a herald may run with it” (NIV); “…so that a runner can read it and tell everyone else” (NLT).

Trapped in His love

God has the best trap; it is the trap of love. God reaches the world through the heart of missionaries. A true heart of a missionary is trapped in God’s love and they show the world the path to God’s door.
