Church of God USA Missions, as part of its 3G Outreach Initiative (Great Commitment—Prayer, Great Commandment—Care, Great Commission—Share) has included Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, January 17, 2016, as an opportunity for local churches to pray for an end to abortion on demand, and to pray for the women who fall victim to the painful consequences and after-effects of abortion.
In a formal declaration in a ceremony held earlier this week at the Church of God International Offices in Cleveland, Tennessee, Dr. Timothy M. Hill, General Director of Church of God World Missions, officially signed a document entitled a “Mutual Acknowledgement of Spiritual Cooperation” with the leadership of the Bulgaria Church of God.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Commission on Colleges announced at its annual conference Tuesday morning, December 8, that Lee University has passed its ten-year reaffirmation with flying colors.

The National Science Foundation recently awarded Lee University a $600,000 grant that will provide scholarships and educational opportunities to Lee students majoring in science and mathematics. The award was made through the federal agency’s Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (S-STEM) program. This grant will fund a new Lee program which will be called “iMASS Scholars.”
