The Pentecostal Theological Seminary is celebrating its annual Heritage Week with events starting yesterday, October 28. The theme is “From Generation to Generation: Honoring Mothers and Fathers,” and the week’s activities include opportunities for students to interact with spiritual mothers and fathers who have had great influence on the Church of God and the Pentecostal movement.
This January several ministry organizations, including the Church of God, are coming together for a prayer meeting of epic proportions at Northwood Temple, Fayetteville, N.C.
Two Church of God men who experienced a kidney transplant five years ago will have a follow-up radio interview on the Chris Fabry Show at 3:00 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, October 28, on Moody Radio.
Dr. Rickie Moore will present the Ninth Annual Azusa Lecture, “From Generation to Generation: The Call of the Word, the Cry of the Spirit, and the Turning of Hearts.” His presentation will be Tuesday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m. in the North Cleveland Church of God’s Dixon Chapel. Following Moore’s presentation, Dr. James M. Beaty will receive the Spirit of Azusa Award for his life-long contribution to the Pentecostal movement as a missionary and educator. The lecture and reception for Beaty are free and open to the public.
Cleveland, TN—October 23, 2014– Dr. R. Lamar Vest was inaugurated today as the tenth president of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary. The ceremony took place in the Cross Chapel on the Church of God institution’s campus.
Abundant Life, a Church of God congregation in the Tampa, Fla. area, has annually sponsored a community-wide event called CareFest. The event takes place every September with the theme being “Bee Caretagious.”
