At the recent International General Assembly in Orlando, the Church of God launched a program to address the growing scourge of pornography and sex trafficking in America and around the world.

Church of God USA Missions is offering resources to help the local church observe National Senior Adult Sunday on September 28, 2014.

Recently, Operation Compassion was able to send a record number of semi-trailers loaded with tile to overseas partners. This record of thirty semis for a single month will be used to build schools, medical clinics, orphanages and feeding centers.

This past Sunday, August 24, a large earthquake rolled through California’s northern Bay Area just before 3:30 a.m. about ten miles northwest of American Canyon, which is about six miles southwest of Napa. It’s the largest earthquake to shake the Bay Area since the 6.9-magnitude Loma Prieta quake in 1989, the USGS said. It damaged some buildings, ignited fires, knocked out power to tens of thousands and sent residents running out of their homes in the darkness.

The 2014 Church of God General Assembly Black Ministries Fellowship Luncheon was held on Wednesday, July 30, at the Hilton hotel in Orlando, Florida. Over 300 individuals attended the event, orchestrated and coordinated by Dr. Kenneth Hill, former Black Ministries coordinator for the Church of God, who was appointed director of Multicultural Ministries following the Assembly.

At the recent Church of God General Assembly, the presence of God moved on the people of God to embrace the FINISH CHALLENGE, a new World Missions initiative, with over two million dollars in cash and commitments.
