With Church attendance on the decline and many churches closing their doors, there is still hope for the Church, says one Michigan Church Planter. Kevin Hester, a Church Planter at The Shore Church in St. Joseph, Michigan, believes his Vintage Modern Church could become a new trend. After planting his first church 7 years ago, he re-located the church to a Vintage (older vacant) church building. He then modernized the building and the churches services and ministries.

Church Staff Apps, LLC has announced the national launch of a first-of-its-kind app that gives church leaders the power to minister to the sick more effectively than ever.
At a press conference last Friday at the National Press Club, a group of spiritual leaders spoke out against so-called same-sex marriage and pledged defiance should the U.S. Supreme Court attempt to redefine marriage in the United States. They included Deacon Keith Fournier (Editor-in-Chief of Catholic Online), Matt Staver (founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel), Focus on the Family Founder Dr. James Dobson (who spoke by video) and Janet Boynes (an ex-lesbian). Statements were read by Bishop Harry Jackson (senior pastor, Hope Christian Church, Washington, D.C.) and Rabbi Aryeh Spero (Caucuses for America).
Every two years, North Coast Church shuts down services for the weekend to go out into the community and show God’s love by being the hands and feet of Jesus. The 2015 Weekend of Service will take place April 25-26 with 10,000 volunteers. The goal is to complete over 400 site improvement projects worth more than $2 million in billable labor and materials across Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad/La Costa, San Marcos, Escondido and Fallbrook.
