Local Minister Miraculously Survives 40 Foot Fall Through Church Ceiling

While routinely rounding up vagrant pigeons in the attic of his church in Kansas City, Missouri, Minister John F. Drew III stepped on a bad spot and his life would be changed forever. He fell 40 feet and landed in a small cubby hole at the foot of the baby grand piano. Even with the extent of his injuries, several broken bones, vertebrae, ribs and a fractured hip, local paramedic A.L. Baker stated “It was nothing short of a miracle that he survived a fall from that great of distance.”

“I had been through so much in the past, I had no doubt that God would heal me and allow me to walk again,” stated Elder Drew. He would go on to rehab in an area nursing home and spend several months in a wheelchair. After his release from the nursing home he started his own wheelchair and stretcher van company. He was able to help people and change lives for several years, even securing a contract from the same nursing home where he learned to walk again. Due to changes in health policy, the wheelchair van company had to downsize and lay off employees. However, once again God has worked a miracle and saved Drew’s Christian owned and operated business with the invention of a simple sticker, the Tank Target.

“After struggling to gas up different vehicles all the time, I realized I was always pulling up on the wrong side of the gas pump,” said Drew. “I began to notice that several other people were having the same problem! How many times have you pulled up to the gas pump after a long day or rushing to work in your own car, a spouse’s car, a friend’s car or a rental car and you noticed that you pulled up on the wrong side to fill up?”

The patented, divinely inspired, Tank Target is the world’s simplest solution to end that problem. The Tank Target is much like an oil change sticker. It fits conveniently and effortlessly on the inside windshield on whatever side your gas tank is located. So now each time you go to fill up you just look for the Tank Target as a reminder of what side your tank is on.

Drew’s story of redemption, perseverance and overcoming the odds through God’s help gives people encouragement and hope in these troubled times that God is still in the miracle working business. Drew tells his testimony frequently on TV, Radio and in print. He has started a not for profit youth program, Camp C.A.R.V.E.R. from the proceeds of the Tank Target and from True Transport. His favorite saying of all time is “Look at God.”
