N.J. Group First to be Certified in New LifeBuilders Program
Dr. David H. Gosnell, Church of God Men’s Discipleship Coordinator, recently conducted a new LifeBuilders Leadership Certification Program in the state of New Jersey where nineteen “LifeBuilders Leaders” were the first to be certified under the new Level 1 certification program.

LifeBuilders Ministry is designed to:
• Disciple men through small groups and directed courses
• Equip and train men for ministry by helping them discover and use their spiritual gifts
• Mobilize men for work in the Kingdom by emphasizing that “everyone is a minister”
• Enable men to experience spiritual renewal through group Bible encounters, interaction, development of an effective prayer life, and empowerment for witnessing through their own baptism in the Holy Spirit
• Provide men accountability and a sense of belonging through organized Christian fellowship with other men in the church, which helps maintain their commitment to the church family
• Encourage men to be better husbands, fathers, providers and spiritual leaders as priests in the home and Christian workers and businessmen in the workplace
• Provide a definite purpose of mission and service through discipleship courses
• Organize prayer support for the pastor and vital ministries of the church
“Congratulations to Bishop Steve Smith, New Jersey regional bishop and the nineteen new leaders,” Gosnell stated. “They have set the bar for this program as exceptional leaders in this new LifeBuilders program.” LifeBuilders leaders completing Level One included Douglas Adams, Douglas Adams II, Donnie Anderson, Frank Anderson, Philip Bonaparte II, Joscelyn Cameron, Allan Campbell, Robert Dayes, Christian Edwards, Lloyd Edwards, Charles Litchmore, Wilbert McLanty, Jasper McLeod, Sampson Parris, Calvert Peart, Halford Smith, Donald Stewart, Kayvon Wyles, and Ronique Young
The first level of LifeBuilders Leadership Certification Training was launched in January this year. Level II certification training will be introduced and available in September 2014. Level III is on tap to be launched in January 2015.
