USA Missions Promotes Easter Soul Winning
Church of God USA Missions has announced the partnership of USA Missions with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) for a unique Easter soul winning effort.
Last November, Church of God congregations joined with fellow evangelical believers in MY HOPE AMERICA, an outreach dubbed by BGEA as “Billy Graham’s final crusade.” Following the biblical example of Matthew, Christ followers opened their homes or gathered at coffee shops to share the gospel with unsaved friends via a prerecorded message prepared by Billy Graham. Thousands of professions of faith were recorded, and then the sponsoring pastors and churches initiated discipleship follow-up ministries.
Following the MY HOPE emphasis, BGEA President Franklin Graham conceived the idea of continuing this emphasis by utilizing the MY HOPE video, THE CROSS, as a soul-winning tool for an Easter season emphasis.
Dr. James E. Cossey, Administrative Coordinator of Church of God USA Missions said, “We are thrilled at the participation of hundreds of Church of God congregations and their people in the MY HOPE program last November. We strongly encourage everyone to order and utilize this video as part of our celebration of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The bottom line is that, as believers, we are called to win the lost and make disciples.”
According to Franklin Graham, this is an excellent resource for Sunday school classes and small groups, as well as for individual or congregational use.
