‘Countdown to Pentecost’ Series Begins Today
A series of video messages, debuting today with an address from Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill, will continue until Pentecost Sunday on June 9, 2019.
Pentecost Sunday celebrates the pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the 120 in the Upper Room as described in Acts 2. Countdown to Pentecost will commemorate this most important event with a series of interviews with guests who will share their testimonies about the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives, followed by a closing prayer. The videos will be released at 10:00 a.m. EST on the Church of God Facebook page and other venues, including the Church of God website later this week, through Pentecost Sunday.
“I believe God is going to pour out His spirit in unprecedented ways upon your life, your ministry, and your church,” Hill declared in the first video posted on May 22. “I believe, on Pentecost Sunday, you are going to experience a fresh wave of God’s glory on your life and many will be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Videos will include testimonies and interviews with the following special guests: Paula Hill; Raymond F. Culpepper, J. David Stephens, David E. Ramirez, John D. Childers; Michael Reynolds; Ronnie Hepperly; Sushil Matthew; Dustin Wilson; Pamela Brewer; David Blair; David Griffis; M. Thomas Propes; Carlos Moran; Doyle Scott; Rob Bailey; and Dee McLeod Raff.
