Global Ministers Meeting Will Update Ministries
Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill will lead an important church-wide update of ministries and resources set for Wednesday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
The event will take place virtually via livestream and will be available for access at churchofgod.org.
The livestream will be divided into three distinct sessions entitled Path and Progress, Resources and Partnerships and Priorities. Hill will open the event, followed by scripture from Mike Reynolds and prayer by former General Overseer Lamar Vest. Hill will present an overview of the critical events of 2020 and a review of the resources that have been developed in response to global incidents, particularly the Covid-19 pandemic. Session II will include several reports and updates from ministries, including World Missions, Youth and Discipleship, an economic report and forecast, the latest medical information, and any legal issues confronting the local and international church.
During session III, members of the International Executive Committee will deliver brief updates, followed by General Overseer Hill who will deliver a challenge focusing on the priorities of the Church of God moving forward as, “The Church on Mission.”
The Global Ministers Meeting will also include guest video messages, several “giveaway” items, such as an online book, scholarship opportunities to the Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and resource items from the sponsoring agency of the meeting, Pathway Press.
