Spirit Sound Music Group Re-Launches
Cleveland, TN—After nearly a decade in hiatus, officials with the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.) have announced the re-launch of SpiritSound Music Group (SMG).
Before becoming a part of the Church of God International Offices in Cleveland, SMG previously operated as a department of the denomination’s Pathway Press where leaders through the years with SMG coordinated music events and conferences, including the annual Music Explosion, supervised production of musical and choral selections, and oversaw the production of the Church Hymnal, one of the most popular hymn books of all time. Pathway continues to produce the Church Hymnal today.
To its credit, SMG has copyrights to over 16,000 published songs, the contracts of which are housed at the International Offices. Many of the songs and musicals have been nominated for Dove Awards.
The SpiritSound Music Group re-launch will take place in early 2022 during the upcoming Music Nashville set for January 10-12, 2022 at Christ Church in Nashville.

Wilson stated SpiritSound will debut with the tagline, “His Praise – Our Purpose” at Music Nashville.
