Summer 2024 Camp Meeting Schedule Released
Cleveland, TN–The traditional calendar of Church of God camp meetings across the United States and Canada has been released by the International Offices.
The 2024 schedule reveals most meetings are three or four-night events with multiple evening speakers. The traditional format of Church of God camp meetings consisting of a single morning Bible teacher and evening speaker for a week-long celebration has changed over the last few years. The five members of the Church of God Executive Committee are each assigned several camp meeting destinations and represent the Church of God International Offices through greetings and/or messages during the week.
Of the 55 states/regions reporting their schedules to the International Offices, ten camp meetings are set for the month of May, with the remainder to take place in the month of June. Only two camp meetings (Southern New England and New York-Metro) take place the last weekend of June, and none are scheduled for July. The earlier start of the 2024 camp meeting season is no doubt due to an earlier start of the 2024 General Assembly, set for July 8-12 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Canada-Quebec will be the first camp meeting on May 3-5, while Alaska is conducting their camp meeting the following week on May 7-10.
A schedule of camp meetings across the nation and Canada which lists the locations, dates, speakers, and Executive Committee representatives has been posted on churchofgod.org. Anyone interested in obtaining more information of a particular camp meeting should contact the state/regional office.
