25th Music Explosion Set for March
CLEVELAND TN. – Music Explosion 2010, set for March 4-5, promises to be exciting, innovative and informative.
This music conference has established itself as one of the nation’s premiere worship and music conferences and this year includes a celebration of 25 years of ministry! For two days, music ministers, church musicians and pastors will convene in Cleveland to receive collectively over 100 hours of instruction and training, be inspired by celebration and worship events and share experiences and exchange ministry ideas and concepts.
The Department of Music Ministry for the Church of God has sponsored the conference every year since its beginning and has given extensive opportunities to many Christian artists and denominational musicians by providing a platform in which to model current, balanced musical and worship concepts. Dr. Delton Alford, Department Director has hosted the conference since its inception.
Highlighting the list of special guests and clinicians this year are well-known praise and worship leader, Travis Cottrell, award winning recording artists Brian Free & Assurance, Dove Nominated artist Geron Davis, premier minister of music Todd Bell & The Prestonwood Singers and Band, orchestrator and arranger Bradley Knight, the Sing Off’s nationally recognized Voices of Lee, the Mutyebeles from Belgium, Lee University’s Lee Singers, Campus Choir and Symphonic Band, and others.
The conference will climax on Friday evening at the Conn Center on the campus of Lee University with a music concert that will feature the Voices of Lee, the Lee Singers from Lee University and Todd Bell, Bradley Knight and the Prestonwood Singers and Band. A highlight of the evening will include a performance by Lee Singer Alumni Choir as part of the celebration of the life and ministry of Dr. Delton Alford, Director of Department Music Ministries for the Church of God.
