God Leads Us
“I will, and show you the way you should go; set my eyes on you.” Psalms 32:8.
We left Morocco in late June because the Lord allowed us to go Honduras and refresh our spirits and souls. We spent time with the brothers of the church and family, and worshipped together. It was a very special time where we could share and receive blessings.
We returned to Morocco without any problems even though we entered the Ramadan period where everything is difficult, but the Lord is always leading our way.
CHANGES
After our visit in Honduras, our plan was to spend the next year in Senegal, but after the General Assembly, the Lord changed our plans and headed us to Panama. We will begin to live there January 2011, and work as executive director of AEMI. We know that it is a big challenge, but our hearts are to obey the Lord and go where He wants to lead us.
OPPORTUNITIES OF SHARING
Since last year, God put it in our hearts to help a Moroccan girl, who at times had helped us in medical conferences to translate. Her Spanish was not too good, so we helped her study Spanish for one year.
Before leaving Morocco, God again put into our hearts to help her. We had seen great interest in her during the medical works, and asked her if she wanted to study nursing. She very excitedly said yes, so we saw an opportunity to help her prepare. She lives at home because she is economically disadvantaged and her parents could not keep paying for her studies. After prayer and research, we found a nursing school, and enrolled her. Now she is living with us for the time we have left, and we have the opportunity to share the gospel with her, pray for her to open her heart to the Lord, and be touched by the Holy Spirit.
