The Great American Fast
Evangelist Michael Adams of Isaiah Michael Ministry will be speaking at The Great American Fast July 3, 2011. The Great American fast is a twelve hour service dedicated to fasting in prayer and revival of Christian America. Lifegate Baptist Church of Bellefonte, Pa. will be hosting this day of spiritual awakening for The United States of America.
Evangelist Michael Adams states:
“We have devoted our lives to preaching revival in America. We believe it is time for Christians to once again make their voices heard. We have been silent too long. It is time to take back America. Regardless, of what our president has said, we are a Christian nation. Our forefathers established this nation on Biblical principles, principles we have gradually let slip away. We have given in, shut up, and sat down. I for one believe America once again can see the glory of our forefathers and the blessings of God. What it will take is Christians falling on our faces repenting to God for allowing this to happen.
“How do I plan for revival to occur? I will be preaching in The Great American Fast in Bellefonte, Pa. My message will be from the Book of Acts. Several times Luke said ‘the people were of one accord.’ That is where we need to be ‘of one accord.’ We believe when Christians pull together in one accord seeking God and taking a stand, America will fall into the hands of our merciful God. Then we will hear the words spoken in Acts 17:6 ‘these that have turned the world upside down have come here too.'”
