Second Grant Given to PTS by ATS

The Association of Theological Schools has accepted another grant proposal by Dr. Sang-Ehil Han, associate professor of theology and spirituality and interim vice president for academics at the Church of God’s Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee.

This is the second grant proposal accepted this year for Han. In conjunction with the ATS project “Christian Hospitality and Pastoral Practices in a Multi-Faith Society,” the new grant funding will provide formal opportunities for the faculty and students at PTS to carefully consider and address the present reality of religious plurality in society. Additionally, the project will examine how to engage effectively the peoples of different faith in the community, with special attention given to Christian hospitality and neighborliness. The project aims to shed light on the changing needs in theological education and should have significant bearing on the current five-year Quality Enhancement Plan of PTS.

Dr. Steve Land, PTS president, congratulates Dr. Han for this high honor that reflects the creative spirit and theological passion of the entire Pentecostal Theological Seminary faculty.
