J.D. Greear, the president of the Southern Baptist Convention, on Tuesday, implored Southern Baptist members to accept and promote that “black lives matter” as a gospel issue but criticized the Black Lives Matter organization in his 2020 presidential address to church members.

Tulsa, OK – The Empowered21 (E21) Global Congress wrapped up Wednesday, June 10, 2020 with powerful messages from evangelists Daniel Kolenda and Christine Caine, along with a summation statement from E21 Global Co-chair Dr. Billy Wilson. The online Congress began on Monday, June 1 and featured over 70 world-renowned Spirit-empowered leaders. The event focused on encouraging believers to unite around completing the remaining task of the Great Commission by 2033. Over 100,000 people participated in the Congress with registered participants representing 197 nations.

The U.S. Department of Justice filed an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in support of a Catholic foster care agency because it refuses to compromise its religious beliefs by placing children with same-sex couples. The Supreme Court agreed to review Sharonell Fulton, et al. v. City of Philadelphia and oral argument is expected in the fall.
