For most, the 2014 Gaza war, Operation Protective Edge, ended a year ago. This summer, as most Israelis enjoy a typical vacation filled season that was interrupted last year by last summer’s war, it’s a time to relax and recharge as compared to the stress of a year ago when two-thirds of Israel was in range of Hamas’ nearly 5,000 rockets fired at Israel.

Today Thomas More Society attorneys filed a lawsuit against West Career and Technical Academy and the Clark County School District on behalf of a student who was denied the right to start a pro-life club. The lawsuit asserts that school administrators violated student Angelique Clark’s free speech rights by denying her application to form a Students for Life group at the Las Vegas high school.

Pro-Life Champions, the producers of the 40 film, are teaming up with 40 Days for Life to encourage local leaders in the United States and other countries to use this powerful movie as a tool to educate, inspire and motivate pro-life volunteers to get involved with 40 Days for Life. The upcoming Fall Campaign will take place from September 23 to November 1, 2015. 40 has released a new website page for this collaborative effort.

City on a Hill Studio’s THE SONG was honored by the Gospel Music Association with an “Inspirational Film of the Year” nomination at the upcoming Dove Awards. The award announcement arrives as the film prepares to make its world television debut tonight, Friday August 14, on EPIX Network.

Forty-eight year old Craig Reed will complete Enduring Voices, a 104 mile run across Vietnam, to raise awareness and support for Christian relief ministry Orphan Voice and its humanitarian work in Vietnam. His goal is to raise $50,000 for Orphan Voice programs. To help him achieve that goal, Craig has established several social media channels and a fundraising website.

Because of the comprehensive and accelerating failure of the government school system and the encroachment of Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Exodus Mandate (Frontline Ministries, Inc.) has launched a new film, Escaping Common Core: Setting Our Children Free (Volume 1). Common Core is a major issue in the 2016 presidential campaign, and this new DVD will impact the national debate about the best and biblical alternatives for K-12 education and why public school reform is not possible.

Interest is high in the Shemitah, blood moons and varied prophecies concerning judgment and economic collapse. Speculation is heightened regarding what will happen in the economy during September and October of this year. The Lord is sovereign. No one knows with certainty what the economy will be like in a few months. But we can look at danger signs in the U.S. and global economy. We can take actions in the natural when justified, and we can seek the Lord more.
