The book, which was released last month, is authored by Tim Hill, Divisional Liaison for World Evangelization and Assistant General Overseer of the Church of God. Divided into 12 chapters and including a study guide, the book is written so that each chapter can be taught in weekly bible studies, small groups or used by pastors in a series of sermons promoting renewal and revival in the local church. This is where the Powerpoint will be most effective.
“I especially wanted to write a book that laity along with pastors could utilize, Hill stated. “I approached this challenge with our wonderful laity in mind.”
The publication of Beyond the Mist and the companion CD coincides with the annual revival emphasis sponsored by the Department of Evangelism and Home Missions. The two resources can be utilized as devotional and teaching guides during the emphasis.
